My Mission

To make every patient feel important and help every smile meet its full potential. To promote oral health thought dental treatment, patient education, and preventative care in order to improve overall wellness.

Education

Dr. Abeln received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with Distinction from the University Of Minnesota Twin Cities (Go Gophers!) in 2013. She then attended the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry in Baltimore and graduated with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2017. Dr. Abeln successfully completed a General Practice Residency at the Wilkes Barre Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA, after graduating dental school.

Professional Memberships

Dr. Abeln is currently an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Association of Women Dentists and American Dental Association.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Abeln was born and raised in North Carolina, and she has since moved all around the country. She has found a home in Pennsylvania. When she isn't practicing dentistry, she likes to read, cook, and watch movies, especially documentaries. Dr. Abeln spends a lot of her free time playing and snuggling with her dog, Charley.
